It is always a joy for me to walk through the tropical room there. The blue morphos remind me of my time in Costa Rica, when once I took a walk in a real jungle littered with the large metallic blue creatures.
My favorite part at the Pavilion is to stand in front of the cocoons and watch them. They are a dazzling array of gold and blue and green, each with a new life transforming inside. When it’s time, they start jiggling and soon they are out with fresh wings, taking a pause before the first flight.
The process of growing my new practice over the next several months will be part of my own metamorphosis as I move from a corporate employee to a business owner and physician paving a new way for patients and doctors to engage in a new kind of care that serves us all.
On the way out of the pavilion we made a stop at the gift shop—ever popular with my kids—where I found a beautiful piece of art for the waiting room. I hope it will carry the energy of the transformation forward and bring a smile to those of you that know what it means to me.
Speaking of bugs, I was made aware of a few bugs in sign up process. If you tried to register as a patient or for a meet and greet and had troubles, please forgive me and try again. It is all working now.
